On Thursday October 22, 2026, Constantine Lanzi, (known as Coni by those who loved him), husband of beloved wife Carol Reilly Lanzi (d. 2022), was called to Heaven.
Loved by all who were blessed enough to know him, Coni was considered one of the most generous, kind, and devoted individuals you would ever meet. He was a cherished brother, father, son, friend and husband. He led by example especially with his faith, care, and love and devotion for his wife Carol and all of his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and dogs. He was a true gentleman, proud to be 100% Italian, and one who exhibited a tremendous work ethic. In 1972, he was cofounder to what became a successful insurance agency with his partner, Jim Wetzel (Wetzel & Lanzi, Inc.). Many of Coni’s closest friends, including The Lamplighters - also fondly called him “Herm”.
Coni was also a humble but invaluable member of the Country Club of Maryland. He was instrumental in helping the Club navigate changes with a positive outcome for all members. An annual tournament was created in his honor.
Coni was a father to Donald J. Lanzi (Tammy), Frank H. Lanzi (Nancy), Debbie C. Lanzi, J. Neil Lanzi (Cindy), Sharon L. Bateman (Joe); Cherished Grandfather of Brian Lanzi (Christine), Allie Rich (Mark), Matt Lanzi; Michael Walder (Leah), Mary Beth McKenna (Mike); Trisha Nicholas (Matt), Joanna Crawford (Will); Jill Bateman, Paul Bateman, and survived by eleven loving great-grandchildren.
Coni was the loving brother of Joe (Pat), Ray (Carole), Joann (Ned), and David (Lisa). He also was Uncle Coni to many!
The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Parish, 100 Church Lane, Cockeysville, MD 21030, on Friday October 30th, 2026, from 10:00-11:00.
