Concetta Ann Allen Piercy passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 6, 2026. She was a strong yet gentle soul whose compassion and appreciation for the kindness of others touched everyone who knew her. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Connee leaves behind a legacy of love that will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, on December 12, 1963, Connee was the beloved daughter of the late Concetta Marie Allen (née Bowen) and John Pendergrass Allen Jr. She cherished her family and found her greatest joy in being at home surrounded by those she loved. Children were always drawn to her warm heart, and she delighted in spending time with them, making each one feel special and loved.
Connee was exceptionally intelligent and built a successful career as a Residential Mortgage Underwriter. Through her expertise and dedication, she helped countless families achieve the dream of homeownership. Her colleagues and work family will remember her professionalism, kindness, and unwavering commitment, and they mourn her loss deeply.
She was the loving mother of Amanda Piercy; Anthony Piercy III and his wife, Cecelia Piercy; and Amy Janowich and her husband, Andrew Janowich. She was the proud and devoted grandmother of Aiden Weis, Maxemilian Weis, Reiley Weis, Kiera Piercy, Quinn Piercy, Fallon Piercy, and Dylan Janowich.
Connee is also survived by her loving sisters, Janine Richmond and her husband, Stuart, and Christine Bevans and her husband, Ronald; her cherished nieces and nephews, Dawn Hubbs and her husband, David; Theresa Zito; Jennifer Deets and her husband, Philip; and John Bevans; as well as her great-nephew, Ryan Deets. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the family-owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit 26), on Monday, July 13, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 14, at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Connee's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, whose mission of providing care and hope to children and their families was one she would have appreciated.
