On November 20, 2024, Clarence Roland Moore, Jr. went home to be with the Lord. He was the beloved husband of Maria Lucia Moore, devoted father of Sandra Lee Steward (Raymond), Richard Moore, Carolyn Stopford and Michael Stopford. Loving grandfather of Joshua Steward (Sarah Ann), Sarah E. Steward, and Henry Stopford. He is also survived by his brother Joseph Moore (Peggy), and his sister Patricia Astore.
Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway exit 26), on Friday, December 6th from 9 AM to 12 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home on Friday, December 6th, 12 PM. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in Clarence's honor.

Clarence(Roland)'s proudest achievement was his commitment to the Marines. He followed the Marine qualities throughout his life, especially the quality of "Always Faithful". Roland participated in multiple Marine Corp Marathons.
The majority of his successful career was spent at Bethlehem Steel in Human Resources. During that time, he married Eve Stopford and between them, they brought four children to the marriage. He took great pride, in playing the part that he did, in their lives. After retirement, he and Eve started a successful antique business in Cambridge, Maryland. Roland was an expert in refinishing antique furniture.
After the passing of his late wife Eve, Roland married Maria Hunt in 2009. They had the most loving, loyal and fun relationship for 15 years. They were a blessing to each other late in life. Rest in Peace Roland.
