On May 4, 2025, Charles Albert Steele passed away peacefully in Baltimore, MD. He was the cherished son of the late Carmen Crawford (nee Trupia) and Robert Wallace Steele; beloved husband of Louann Steele (nee Luers); devoted father of Ryan Joseph Steele and his wife Gina and Robert Wallace Steele and his wife Alexis; loving grandfather of Lola, Blake, Maura, Saylor, Sophia, and Isabella Steele; dear brother of Darlene Stainbrook and her husband Steve, Louis Cammarta and his wife Kimberly, Robert Dean Steele and his wife Elizabeth, Marnie Betz and her husband Glenn, and the late Virginia Caruccio. Charles is survived by many other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit 26) on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 4:00-7:00pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 13305 Long Green Pike, Hydes, MD 21082, on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10:00am. The inurnment will follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org .
