Celeste was the daughter of James and Florence Cullen. She graduated from St Joseph Nursing School in 1969. In 1984 she married Dr Roberto O Ferrer. Celeste worked as an operating room nurse for most of her career. As an avid reader, she went back to school to major in English Literature, graduating from Goucher College with honors. Afterwards, she volunteered with an adult literacy group. Celeste enjoyed reading, crafts, and all things Baltimore.

A small service will be held at the Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens on May 2nd at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association or other dementia research group.
