Catherine Elizabeth (Bette) Duffy Meisol, 91, formerly of Maplewood, N.J., died Friday May 6, 2011. Born and raised in Vailsburg, NJ, she was married 25 years to John Mentz Meisol, deceased, 1970. She was the daughter of William P. and Elizabeth McDonald Duffy. She was an insurance adjuster for Commercial Union Assurance Companies, and a long-time communicant of St. Joseph's Maplewood and St. Catherine's Spring Lake. Her family was her love. She is survived by 4 daughters, Mary E. Bartkus of Califon, NJ, Joan M. Gill of Charlotte, NC, Patricia K. Meisol of Reisterstown, MD, Susan M. DePalma of Rumson, NJ, 4 sons-in-law, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, two nieces, Joan Maddalena of East Hanover, N.J., and Rosemary Doyle of Randolph, NJ, and nephew Thomas Griffin of Sparta, NJ.
