On October 15, 2011, Catherine M. Derus (nee Daniels), beloved wife of the late Joseph V. Derus, Sr.; devoted mother of Joseph V. Derus, Jr. and his wife Jane, Carolyn M. Daneker and her husband Joseph and Keith E. Derus and his wife Cynthia; dear sister of Elsie Reinhardt. Also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one beach umbrella.

A funeral service will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Ave. on Wednesday at 12 PM. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
