On February 10, 2025, Carolyn Ann Bruder (nee Smutny) passed away peacefully at Stella Maris in Timonium, Maryland.

Over the course of her 92 years, Carolyn lived a rich and purposeful life. Her greatest joys were faith, family, and friends. Carolyn had a loving, prayerful heart and generously devoted herself to others.  She especially enjoyed following the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens, an interest which endeared her all the more to those closest to her.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Lawrence Bruder Jr. Beloved mother of Lawrence Bruder (Ann), Mark Bruder (Rene) and Theresa Doub (Ron).  Loving grandmother of David Bruder (Riley), Emily Bruder (Jordan George), Sam Bruder, Virginia Leeper (Jordan), Caroline Bruder, Darlene Whitley and William Doub. Cherished great grandmother of Jonathan Bruder, Bella Bruder and J.D. Leeper.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Stella Maris Chapel at 11 A.M., with visitation from 10:30-11 A.M.

Interment to follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Baltimore.
