On October 3, 2025, Carol Hennegan Murray, beloved daughter of the late Honorable Judge A. Owen Hennegan, Jr. and Catherine L. Hennegan; devoted mother of Christopher Murray and his wife Cara and Suzannah Murray and her husband James Yeargain; loving grandmother of Dylan, Conor, and Annie; dear sister of the Honorable Judge John O. Hennegan, Nancy Carpenter and Gail Edelen.

Carol was strong and feisty till the end. Her happy place was with her family and friends sitting on the beach with a good book. She loved going to Everyman Theatre and went to every lacrosse game her kids played. She was a graduate of Towson University and the University of Baltimore Law School, and had a Masters from Loyola University. Carol was a Mediator for Baltimore County Courts for over 20 years. She loved being a mom and grandmom more than anything in the world.
