Carol Louise Kolbe
August 30, 1947 – August 24, 2025

Carol Louise Kolbe, born on August 30, 1947, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of the late E. Clayton C. Kolbe and Henry Oscar Kolbe of Egg Harbor City, NJ.

Carol is survived by her sister, Bette C. Kolbe Cole and brother-in-law, Joseph E. Cole of Glen Arm, MD; her niece, Jennifer L. McCoy; great-niece, Courtney M. McCoy; and great-nephew, Carter M. McCoy of Monroe, CT. She is also survived by her cousin Cathleen Kolbe of Dunedin, FL, and the children of her cousin Edward Kolbe: Stanley, Ed, John, Debra, and Beth, formerly of Absecon, NJ.

After graduating high school, Carol attended secretarial school and went on to build a dedicated career as a secretary in both the private and public sectors. Her professional journey included roles at several large companies and government agencies, notably John Deere, Sheppard Pratt, and the Baltimore County Department of Health in Towson, MD.

Carol had a deep love for travel and treasured the time spent with her family. In her early years, she and her mother explored destinations such as Hawaii, Canada, and many parts of the southern and western United States. She was also an avid sports fan, and, for many years, she enjoyed attending events, such as Baltimore Blasts games, with friends and her niece.

Carol will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the loyalty she brought to those around her.
