Suddenly on January 4, 2012 Carl M. Smith, Jr. beloved husband of Joan A. Smith (nee McDonough); devoted father of Virginia E. Hartsell, Bridgett L. Tolbert and Roger M. Smith; step father of Connie Hooper, Melvin Wise, Louis Wise and Margaret Ruddlesden; dear brother of Elaine J. Walker, Phyllis J. Nizer and Pamela G. Seisman also survived by 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc. 7922 Wise Ave. on Saturday at 8:00 PM. Cremation to follow. Friends may call on Saturday 3-5 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society PO Box 43025 Baltimore, Maryland 21236.
