PALMER beloved husband of 59 years to Lillie Mae Palmer (nee Eckhart); devoted father of Carol Wallace, Barbara Raines, Susan Schroeder, Mary Hall, Sharon Palmer and Joyce Maranto; loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brother of Doris Stahler and her husband Ralph and the late H. Lee Palmer and Glenn Palmer; brother-in-law of Patsy Palmer.

Friends may call at the family-owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (beltway exit 26) on Friday from 4 to 7 PM. Mr. Palmer will Lie-in-State at Long Green Valley Church of the Brethren (www.lgvcob.org) on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM when services will begin. Interment in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
