On August 19, 2024, Bruce T. Votta, beloved husband of Mary Agnes Votta (nee Myers), dedicated son of the late Charles R. Votta Sr. and Catherine G. Votta, devoted father of Jonathan S. Votta and wife Ashley and Jessica V. Stehman and husband Jonathan, loving grandfather of Hadley, Reese, Lennon, Mason and Roman, dear brother of Charles R. Votta, Jr. and wife Carol, Rodney J. Votta and wife Mary, Janice C. Roth and husband Warren, Catherine M. Terry and husband Bruce, John E. Votta, and Adele V. Kirwan and husband Wayne, supportive uncle to 6 nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews.

Bruce was born in Baltimore, MD and a graduate from Mergenthaler High School. Bruce was an entrepreneur and business owner of a successful MEP firm, Spears-Votta Associates Inc., for over 40 years.  Outside of work, Bruce devoted his time to various philanthropic organizations, such as Mercy High School, Engineers Club, CCBC, ASHRAE, Building Congress and Exchange and many more. In his spare time, Bruce was an avid Baltimore sports fan, an active golf and tennis player, enjoyed being at the beach and loved spending time at Poppy's pool with his family and dog, Aspen.

The family will receive friends at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road Towson Maryland 21204 on Saturday 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM and on Sunday 2PM-4PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10AM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church 18310 Middletown Road Parkton, Maryland 21120. Interment, Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
