On December 24, 2025, Bruce Buckley passed away peacefully in his house surrounded by his wife and daughters after a yearlong battle with cancer. He fought with strength and courage until the day he went to rest. Bruce is the beloved husband of Betty Buckley, devoted father of Christie Paul and her husband Tim, Molly Buckley and her fiancé Adi Gulati, and Maggie Buckley; loving grandfather of Banks and Severn Paul; dear brother of the late Terri Loverde; cherished uncle of Katie Kuhn, her husband Mike Kuhn and their daughter Maya, and the late Kellie Taylor.

Bruce loved his family and friends and cherished his time with them. He was an extraordinary father. His daughters and grandsons were the light of his life. Bruce lived a great life - traveling with his wife, cheering on his daughters, taking his grandsons out on the boat, playing golf, and spending time at the beach surrounded by family and friends. Enjoying good times with the people he loved was what mattered most to Bruce. While we are devastated that he is no longer here, we know the best way to honor Bruce is by celebrating the great times we had with him.

Friends may visit at Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road Towson, MD on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 pm.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Church, 141 N. Hickory Ave, Bel Air, MD 21014 on Friday, January 9th, 2026, at 10:00 am.
