Obituary

Beverly Ann Baldwin (nee Meyers), was born on March 11, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland. The devoted wife, mother, and grandmother transitioned peacefully to heaven on February 25, 2025.

Beverly was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 11, 1941. She attended Eastern High School, and met the love of her life, Roger Baldwin, at church when she was 16. She and Roger were married on March 25, 1961. This year Roger and Beverly would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary.

Beverly worked at Black and Decker early in her career until she had her two daughters and became a full-time mother. She later returned to work at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab ("APL"), where she excelled in her career in positions of increasing responsibility and complexity.

Besides caring for her family and working at APL, Beverly was involved in numerous church ministries over the years, including: prayer team; kids ministry; junior girls' ministries; VBS; women's ministry; greeter; and co-leader of a church small group. She also coordinated culinary functions for various church events. Beverly also enjoyed sewing, reading, and crocheting in her spare time.

Beverly's legacy is one of a deep-rooted faith in Jesus, joy, caring, and loyalty. This legacy enabled her to positively impact all those she met. Those who knew her well will remember her for her infectious smile, her positive disposition, and her willingness to help those in need.

Beverly is survived and missed by her husband Roger, who became her dedicated caregiver over the last two years, her daughter Debbie Baldwin Wilcut (Eddie), her daughter Kim Baldwin Sparks (Steve), and the light of her life, her granddaughter Faith Sparks. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Evelyn and Bert Ingle, her brother and sister-in law, John and Theresa Meyers, and many beloved
extended family members and close friends.

The family will receive visitors at Ruck Towson Funeral Home, in Towson, on Sunday, March 2, 2025, during the hours of 4 pm – 8 pm. The interment will be private, but the family will host a celebration of life for Beverly in the spring. If you are interested in attending Beverly's celebration of life, please include your email address in the guest book at the viewing or send one of the family members your
email address, so that you can be notified of the details once arranged.

In honor of Beverly, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) that funds research for Type 1 diabetes, a condition that affects two of her close family members.
