On October 25, 2012, Betty J. Spurrier, loving daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy Whittle; beloved wife of the late Nelson D. Spurrier; devoted mother of Colleen Fontes and her husband Edward and Denise D. Spurrier; dear sister of Dolores Coburn and her husband the late Stewart Coburn and the late Gorman Whittle and his wife Myrtle; sister-in-law of Grant and Rita Spurrier and the late Elmer and Virginia Spurrier, Harry and Rose Spurrier, Colleen and Raymond Davis and Donald and Doretta Spurrier; Granny Betty to Ann, Cheryl, Trey, Brian, Andrew and Brianne; Nan Betty to Rhianna and Emma. She leaves behind many extended family members: daughters, sons and grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Ave. on Saturday and Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be celebrated at the First Lutheran Church of Gray Manor on Thursday at 11 AM. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
