Betty Lee Raygor passed away suddenly on September 18, 2026. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Franklin R. Raygor and Ethel C. Raygor (nee Scanland), her sister Jean and her nephew Michael, both of Florida. She is survived by her cousins Raymond Scanland and his wife Jackie, and Rae Lee Marino and her husband Jeffrey.

Betty grew up in the Sparrows Point neighborhood and the family later moved to the Belair Road/Perry Hall area. She worked for a local Baltimore TV station and also worked in New York City before coming back to Maryland to care for her mother. She was a resident of Oak Crest Village on Walther Blvd in Perry Hall, MD for many years, and had many friends there.

Betty was kind, thoughtful, cheerful, and never missed a birthday, anniversary or holiday. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles (in pen) and watercolor painting. Her arms were never empty when visiting others, and she always had a smile for everyone that came her way. Her favorite saying was "go with good cheer". She will be in our hearts forever.
