On December 10, 2025 Betty R. Bennett (nee Campbell) passed away at her home surrounded by her family. Betty is the beloved wife of the late Johnny F. Bennett, Sr. ; devoted mother of John Bennett, Jr. and his wife Michele, and Sherri Franklin; cherished grandmother of John III, Aaron and Nathan; Betty was preceded in death by her parents the late Sherman Campbell and Bulah D. Campbell (nee Bowling); sister the late Thelma Beverly, and brother the late Mack Campbell; dear aunt of Sharon Beverly (Ed Riemer), and Nick Riemer (Stephanie). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at the family-owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc. 7922 Wise Avenue on Tuesday December 16, 2025 at 10 AM. Friends may visit on Monday December 15, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
