On October 30, 2009 Bertie L. Steigerwald (nee Harville) born in Thornville (Granges Co.) Tennessee. Beloved daughter of the late Lee and Hattie Harville. Loving wife of the late John F. Steigerwald. Devoted mother of Jennie Carr-Giza, Juanita Carr Elliott, Theresa A. Carr and the late Betty Lou Carr. Loving grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 8. Cherished sister of the late J.O. Harville (Rogersville, TN), Ann Singleton (Dearborn, MI), Lacy Harville (Knoxville, TN), Sara Barlow (Bulls Gap, TN), Enoch Harville (Simpsonville, SC), Gerome Harville (Rogersville, TN) and Jay E. Harville (Kingsport, TN).
A funeral service will be held at the family owned Leonard J. Ruck, Inc. Funeral Home 5305 Harford Road (at Echodale) on Monday at 11 am. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
