On October 18, 2009. Bertha Sander (nee Prag). Beloved wife of the late August Sander. Loving mother of Col. Thomas F. Sander, US Army Retired,and his wife Jeanne Brown Sander of Burke, VA. Dear sister of Gertrude Beyerbach, of Crailsheim, Germany. Devoted grandmother of Amy Sander Herr of Vienna, VA and Kristin Sander of London, England. She is also survived by a great-grandson, George Zachary Herr, of Vienna, VA and numerous nieces and nephews in the United States and Germany.
