On January 16, 2026, Bernice M. Marzella (nee McLaren), passed away peacefully at her home in Phoenix, MD. She is the beloved wife of Francis Louis Marzella; loving sister of William McLaren and his wife Jennifer, Donald McLaren, David McLaren and his wife Denie, and Mary McLaren. Bernice is also survived by 10 cherished nieces and nephews, 1 great nephew, and her 1st great niece is on the way.

Bernice was born in new Brunswick, NJ. She grew up in Towson, Md. She earned bachelor's degrees from both the University of Maryland and Villa Julie College. She retired from a long, rewarding career in Nursing in 2018. After which she and her husband of 33 years continued to pursue their love of travel and visited friends and family. The highlights include their trips to their ancestral lands in Scotland and Italy.

Friends may visit at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, 1050 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204, on Friday, January 30th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and where the funeral will be held on Saturday, January 31st at 11 am. the interment will follow at Dulaney Valley memorial Gardens.
