On April 19, 2025 Bernard John Finnessy; beloved husband of the late Charlotte E. Finnessy; devoted father of Dawn M. Battista, John C. Finnessy and his wife Jenny, and Bryan E. Finnessy; loving grandfather of Miriam Lessel (Mark), Stacey Sudduth (Billy), Heather Gassett, Jonathan Battista (Tegan Jackson), Ben Battista, Evan Finnessy, Jessica Battista, Megan Finnessy, and Martin Murray; cherished great grandfather of Sarah Grace, Bella Joy, Hannah Faith, Jeremiah Benjamin, Joshua Samuel and Josiah David Sudduth, Grayson Declan Gassett, and Alexandra Schneider.

A funeral service will be held at the family-owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc. 7922 Wise Avenue on Thursday April 24, 2024 at 7 PM. Friends may visit on Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
