On December 12, 2024, Bernard "Bernie" Frederick Bell passed away peacefully in Baltimore, MD. He was the beloved husband of Dolores Margaret Bell (nee Gummer); devoted father of John Steven Bell (Deborah) and Gary Michael Bell (Jo Ann) and step-father of John Anthony Chase (Catherine), Gregory Mark Chase (Kathy) and Theresa Ann Sakalski (Mark Hoos); loving grandfather of Christina Rae Bell, Ryan Christopher Bell, Valerie Marie Bell, Robert Randell Gilkerson, Ashley Sakalski, Nicole Sakalski, Erin Daneker, Kelly Husk, and Michael Chase; cherished great-grandfather of Ryder and Karleigh.

Bernie had nine lives and he used them all. He lived his life to the fullest always on his own terms and loved to ride his Harley Davidson more than anything. He rode his Harley to California with a friend years ago and wanted to do one more trip at age 82 but couldn't find a partner to ride with. He never let the grass grow under his feet and was always on the move. He worked four days a week as a barber up until his passing. He was still shooting Pool on Saturday nights and hanging out at Dunkin' Donuts all night Sunday. He had many friends and was loved by everyone and will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Friends may visit at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit 26) on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 9:00-11:00am, at which the funeral service will begin at 11am. The interment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
