On September 17, 2026, August H. Koch, III died peacefully in Towson, Maryland. Augie is the beloved husband of Cynthia P. Koch (nee Nichols) and the devoted father of August H. "AJ" Koch, IV and his wife Nichole and Garrett P. Koch and his fiancé Taylor. He is the cherished grandfather of August H. Koch, V, Emersyn C. Koch and Mya L. Cornell. Augie is the loving brother of Dawn V. Kuhnert, Mary C. McWilliams and her husband Jim, V. Lynn Hershner and her husband Ted, and the late Cindy L. Morrison and her surviving husband Bryan. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Monte Welshons and his wife Beth, his niece Candace Schaufus, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc. 7922 Wise Avenue on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 2PM-4PM and 6PM-7PM. A service celebrating Augie's life will be held at 7PM.
