On February 18, 2012 Audrey A. Goetze (nee Albert) beloved wife of R. Melvin Goetze, Jr. (May 17, 2011). "Don't cry because it's over now. Laugh and remember all the good times we had together". Audrey was married to Melvin for over 72 years, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed playing bridge and dancing at Baltimore Country Club and Naples Sailing and Yacht Club, however her greatest joy came from being with all her family members. She is survived by her sons Randle M. Goetze, III and his wife Nancy and Spaulding A. Goetze and his wife Cynthia; her grandchildren Kimberly Burch Hall, Kelly Long, Spaulding A. Goetze, Jr., Mitchell Goetze and Todd Goetze; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (beltway exit 26) on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM. Services and interment private. Gilchrist Hospice Care played a vital role in Audrey's care and comfort, and the Goetze family requests that memorial contributions in lieu of flowers be sent to Gilchrist at 11311 McCormick Road Suite 350; Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
