On August 9, 2011, Dr. Asuncion Lazaro (nee Palafox). A graduate of the University of the Phillipines, Dr. Lazaro earned her doctorate at Manila Central University. She practiced in the Baltimore area, specializing in internal medicine. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Benigno R. Lazaro; devoted mother of Emmett and his wife Aida, Benigno and his wife Julie, Jo, and Gus and his wife Robin; loving grandmother of Sean, Leah, Lindsey, Bean, Alexis, Christian and Logan; dear sister of Anastacio Palafox.

A funeral service will be held at family owned Leonard J. Ruck, Inc. Funeral Home, 5303 Harford Rd. (at Echodale) on Friday 9AM. Entombment Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 6-9PM.
