On April 2, 2011; Arthur W. Arendt, Jr.; born in Baltimore, MD; beloved husband of Doris A. Arendt married 71 years; devoted father of A. Wesley Arendt, III and his wife Margaret, Dennison C. Houck and her husband David; loving grandfather of Lorri and Brian Shepherd, Jenifer and Gene Teel, Christian and Rebecca Arendt, Jeffrey Arendt, David and Tina Houck, and Andrew and Shinae Houck. Also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Arendt will lie-in-state at St. John's Lutheran Church, Sweet Air on Thursday 11AM-12PM, at which time a funeral service will be held. Interment St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
