Anthony "Tj"
Catalfo
d. Jul 29, 2026
Anthony Joseph Catalfo
December 30, 1985 – July 29, 2026
Anthony Joseph Catalfo, 40, of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family after a courageous battle with metastatic colon cancer.
Born and raised in Dundalk, Maryland, Anthony lived life with passion, determination, and an adventurous spirit. He earned his black belt in Hapkido, loved skateboarding, and found his greatest passion behind a drum set.
With Anthony's passion for drumming, he had the incredible opportunity to travel the world doing what he loved. Music took him across the globe, creating unforgettable experiences, including standing at the edge of the Grand Canyon and climbing the Great Wall of China, all within the same week. Those adventures became stories he loved to share, but it was the people he met along the way who meant the most to him.
Anthony built a successful career as a technician with McCormick & Company, where he was respected for his work ethic, knowledge, and willingness to help others.
In 2009, Anthony met the love of his life, Adriane. They built a beautiful life together, marrying in 2018 and creating the family they had always dreamed of. Nothing brought Anthony more pride or joy than being a husband and father. His daughters, Stella, Darla, and Georgia, were his entire world. Every milestone, every family adventure, every quiet moment at home became more meaningful because he was with them.
Anyone who knew Anthony knew his smile before they heard his laugh, and once they heard his laugh, they never forgot it. He had an incredible sense of humor, a quick wit, and a personality that could light up any room. Anthony could strike up a conversation with anyone and had a remarkable ability to make people feel like they'd known him for years. He loved to joke that he could "sell a popsicle to an Eskimo in the middle of winter," and anyone who knew him would probably agree. Whether he was making someone laugh, telling a story, or simply lending an ear, people naturally gravitated toward him.
Anthony faced his battle with metastatic colon cancer with extraordinary courage. Through every setback, he remained focused on what mattered most: making memories with the people he loved. Though cancer ultimately claimed his body, it never defined the man he was. His strength, kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family remained untouched.
Anthony is survived by his devoted wife, Adriane; his beloved daughters, Stella, Darla, and Georgia; his loving mother, Laurie, and her longtime partner, Harold; his loving father, Greg and his wife Laura; his brother, Greg; his sister-in-law, Erica and her husband, Dave; his cherished nieces, Sophia and Levee; his beloved nephews, Mason and Micah; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends whose lives were forever changed by knowing him.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the hospice team, healthcare providers, friends, neighbors, and the incredible community whose prayers, generosity, meals, and unwavering support carried them through this journey.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to H.O.P.E. (Help for Oncology Problems & Emotional Support), a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization serving cancer patients and their families throughout York County. Their kindness, compassion, and unwavering support meant more to Anthony and our family than words can express. It is our hope that, in Anthony's memory, others walking the difficult road of cancer will receive the same comfort, care, and support that meant so much to us.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
2 Timothy 4:7
Anthony's life was never measured by the years he lived, but by the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created. His story lives on in his girls, in every beat of a drum, and in every person fortunate enough to have known him.
