Our beloved mother, Anna Glorioso Brocato, passed on July 28, 2011 at her home in Sanford, Forida. She was 93 years old. She was born Anna Glorioso to Salvatore and Angela Morici Glorioso on November 11, 1917; in Chicago, IL, USA. She was the fourth of five children born in the USA; seven more would be born after the family moved to Lascari, Sicily. Anna was married to Vincent Brocato on October 12, 1937 in Lascari, Sicily. May God bless her soul and welcome her spirit into His Kingdom. She lived a good life and was a loving and loyal mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and faithful friend. We will miss her love and affection; she died quietly in her room tended by her loving daughter Mary and surrounded by the photographs and memories of all those who loved her and whom she cherished. Rest in Peace Anna Glorioso Brocato (1917-2011); a life well lived. You are loved and will be missed; and we celebrate your life. Anna was preceded in death by husband Vincent Brocato; parents Salvatore and Angela Morici Glorioso; brothers Joseph and wife Diane, Jack, Peter and Francesco Glorioso; and sisters Mary Carlino and Giuseppina Re. She is survived by her son Joseph and daughter Mary Brocato; grandchildren Vincent Brocato and wife Ruth; great grandchildren Christopher, Alexander and Katherine Brocato; brothers Pasquale and Salvatore Glorioso; and sisters Salvatrice Schittino, Emilia Ilardo and Assunta Schittino.

Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit 26A) Tuesday 7-9pm. A graveside service will held Wednesday 12pm at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
