On August 11, 2025, Ann Rutledge Egerton passed away peacefully in Towson, MD. She was the beloved daughter of Ann P. Cherry (nee Posey) and the late Stuart Egerton, II; devoted sister of Stuart Egerton, III (Veronica Bailey); loving aunt of Margaret F. Cropper (Jordan) and Stuart Egerton, IV; great-aunt of Elsie and Axel Cropper; dear close friend of Brian Pabst. She is also survived by her cherished cat Fritz.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Maryland SPCA at www.mdspca.org .
