RAPHEL, III, AMEDEE

On November 1, 2026, Amedee Alexis Raphel, III (Alex), passed away peacefully in Cockeysville, MD. He was the beloved father of Danielle Mummert (David) and Adrienne Millender-Mather (Elliot); loving grandfather of Marissa Mummert, Lilli Millender, and Liam Mather; dear brother of David Raphel (Colette); cherished uncle of Elliot Raphel; and beloved by a circle of dear friends whom he considered family.

He retired from the City of Baltimore where he worked as an Environmental Health Specialist. He graduated from The University of Baltimore and Calvert Hall College High School. He loved history and wrote published articles while in school. He enjoyed fishing, spending time in Milton, Delaware, riding motorcycles, strumming on the guitar, and classic cars. He was a character in his own right.

A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be updated when details are available. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Maryland Masonic Homes, 300 International Circle, Cockeysville, MD 21030.
