On November 13, 2025, Alan Lowell Cloyd passed away peacefully in Towson, MD. He is the beloved husband of Mary Elizabeth Cloyd (nee Stidham); devoted father of Sharon Bailey (Patrick Jensen) and Linda Sakers-Smith (Kevin Smith); loving grandfather of Elizabeth Kelly (Kevin Kelly) and Gavin Bailey (Sarah Bowler); cherished great-grandfather of Claire Kelly; Alan is also survived by many other family and friends.

The family will have a celebration of Alan's life at a later date.
